Brief

Build an ongoing live environment that fans could explore over two months, building momentum to a culminating livestream concert. The goal: stay close to the band during the restrictions of COVID, but make it feel new.

Idea

A three-dimensional way of exploring the album and its trivia. A soviet-inspired retro 'Control Room' — interactive, full of hidden buttons and rotating content — that would unlock unreleased songs, exclusive merch, Q&A access, and a fan-art section called Artopia.

Execution

Hyperinteractive and lili Studios led 70+ collaborators — camera crews, technicians, stagehands — through one of the most complex live setups of recent years. The Control Room evolved across the two-month run, peaking with the live show.

Impact

3.6M sessions · 3.48M hours of view time · log-ins from 202 countries on 1M unique devices · 56% of visits from outside the US. A genuine global gathering, in a year that wasn't designed for one.
