01

Problem

Existing English-to-braille translation software cost up to $700. For a community that already faces structural inequality, the price of access was the barrier.

02

Idea

A free, AI-based translator with an intuitive web interface — designed so any digital content could become braille in seconds.

03

Execution

An end-to-end pipeline: paste text, get accurate braille output ready for refreshable braille displays or print. Built to be donated, not sold.

04

Impact

Multiple Grand Prix wins for a tool whose entire point was that it cost nothing to use.
